The fine print . . .
The Nineteenth Century Charitable Association (NCCA) is an Illinois not-for-profit with a federal tax code as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All persons connected with the NCCA, do so solely because of a desire to benefit the community as a whole and the individuals we serve under our programs. No individual benefits financially from associating with the organization. The NCCA is the sole owner of the building at 178 Forest Avenue in Oak Park, known under the historic name of The Nineteenth Century Club. The primary purpose for the NCCA facility is to support and enable our charitable and educational endeavors. The charitable and cultural activities promoted by NCCA are supported solely by our volunteers and donors and are held in this facility. Programs are open to the public and publicly advertised; some are free while for others a modest donation is suggested, but no one is denied admission. Becoming a Friend of the NCCA is open to all who support our mission, both women and men. Confidential fee waivers are available to all upon request. Please consider joining us as a Friend of the NCCA and donating your time, talents and resources to help us enable our multiple charitable efforts for community betterment. The Nineteenth Century Club is an Illinois not for profit with a federal tax code as a 501(c)(4) organization. The sole purpose of this organization is to support the charitable purposes of NCCA.
